Horseback Rides
Ride Duration
Ride length is flexible and can be adjusted depending on your group’s preferences. Typical horseback rides last approximately 2 to 4 hours, though longer or shorter rides may be accommodated depending on conditions and guest requests.

Horses Are Animals
Even experienced horses can react unexpectedly to wildlife, weather, uneven terrain, or sudden noises. Riders should remain attentive at all times and follow guide instruction throughout the ride.
Weather Conditions
Montana mountain weather can change quickly. Temperatures may vary significantly throughout the day, and rain, wind, or cooler temperatures are always possible, even during summer months.
Cell Service
Cell service may be limited or unavailable in the mountains.
Medical Conditions & Physical Limitations
Please inform guides ahead of time about any injuries, pregnancy, allergies, medical conditions, or riding concerns that may affect your experience or safety.
Wildlife Awareness
Wildlife such as elk, deer, moose, bears, and other animals may be encountered during rides. Guides will instruct guests on proper behavior if wildlife is observed.
Children
Children under 18 must be accompanied by a parent or legal guardian and may require guide approval based on age, size, and riding experience.
Respect for Horses
Guests are expected to treat horses respectfully and follow all guide instructions for safe handling and riding.
Alcohol & Drug Policy
No alcohol or drugs are permitted before or during horseback rides. Guides reserve the right to refuse participation to anyone appearing impaired or unsafe.
Trailhead & Facilities
Bathroom facilities will be unavailable at the trailhead and in remote mountain areas.
Gratuities
Tips are not included in ride costs but are always appreciated by guides and staff.

Horseback riding and mountain travel involve inherent risks, including uneven terrain, changing weather, wildlife encounters, and unpredictable horse behavior. Guests are expected to listen carefully to guide instructions, ride responsibly, and notify guides immediately if they feel uncomfortable during the ride.
